BACKGROUND: Kevin has experience in advising media in relation to defamation and legislative restrictions on publication, copyright and trade practices. In 2005, Kevin undertook a secondment as Acting Corporate Counsel at Australia’s largest Television Network, Channel Nine. Kevin acted for Dow Jones and Co. Inc in the matter of Gutnick v Dow Jones, a landmark case in establishing the principles of jurisdiction for Internet publications.
