Professor at Ghent University, Belgium and at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Courses in Media Law, Copyright Law and Journalism & Ethics. He is member of the Flemish Regulator for the Media, the Flemish Media Council and founding member of Legal Human Academy. Involved in MLAP since 2002. He publishes regularly on legal aspects of freedom of expression, media law and journalism, with a special focus on the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
