Vesna Alaburic, a lawyer and specialist in politics, attorney for the journalists and editors of "Feral Tribune" and Globus" (in legal proceedings brought against them by Franjo and Nevenka Tudjman, the Croatian Government, the ruling HDZ party, etc.), and lawyer for independent media ("Globus", "Feral Tribune", "Jutranji List", "Arena" and more) in more than two hundred civil law cases. Vesna Alaburic is also the defence attorney of Ankica Lepej, the bank clerk who "issued" the bank accounts to President Tudjman's wife, and Lejla Šehovic, the "controversial" Miss Croatia. As the attorney for the Croatian Association of Journalists she has worked on freedom of speech legislation, and as the legal adviser of Forum 21 (the newly established Association of Journalists in Electronic Media) she has prepared a draft law on Croatian radio and television.
