Lawyer, Law Office Trimoelja D. Soerjadi, graduated from Airlanga University in 1979. In 1994 he was the receipient of the Yap Thiam Hien human rights award. He has handled cases of behalf of editors, newspapers, magazines, journalists, activists and politicians relating to issues of freedom of expression and the press, including representing Bambang Harymurti, editor of Tempo Magazine, Ahmad Tau-Fuk and Iskandar Ali, the Tempo journalists, indicted for disseminating false news and defaming Tomy Winata in its 3-9 March 2003 edition.
