He graduated from "Babes-Bolyai" University, Faculty of Law, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Following this he has worked as coordinator for a number of NGOs. He is currently working as a project consultant for the NGO "Lawyers for Human Rights" which is part of a larger group participating in a project entitled "Securing the Implementation of European Convention of Human Rights in Moldova".
