He is a practising lawyer. He collaborates with The Human Rights Issues Research Centre (Kiev National University). He also works with the IREX ProMedia journalist legal protection program, Article 19 and Kharkiv human rights protection group. As an advocate he mainly focuses on defending freedom of expression in defamation litigation and access to information.
